PRESIDENT & SENIOR PRICIPAL
Pamela Holcomb joined Taylor Structural Engineers in July 1996 after being recruited by Dirk Taylor as his first employee. Pamm and Dirk worked together previously at Structural Engineering Corporation and at Eichleay Engineers, and Dirk’s high regard for Pamm made her a natural choice for him as he looked to begin building the firm.
After receiving her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering in 1989, Pamm began her career as a design engineer at Cannon Design in Grand Island, New York. After two years, she relocated back to Pittsburgh to be closer to family, and work as a project engineer at Structural Engineering Corporation until 1993, when she took a position as Senior Project Engineer at Peter F. Loftus Division of Eichleay Engineers, until joining Taylor Structural Engineers in 1996. Pamm became a Principal at TSE in 2001. In January 2021 Pamm assumed the position of President of the firm.
Pamm is a registered engineer in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Pamm received her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering at Pennsylvania State University.
